Rish Sharma is an Artist, Producer, Multi Instrumentalist and Songwriter. Born and brought up in New Delhi, India, Rishabh Dev Sharma grew up in a household where music was played throughout the day. Exposed to bands like Nirvana, Guns N' Roses, Def Leppard, Rock and Soul music from his father, his mother introduced him to the world of Indian Film music from legendary composers like R. D. Burman and A.R. Rahman.He naturally became inclined to learning the musical language and gravitated towards playing instruments. At the age of 8, he picked up the fundamentals of groove and began playing the drums and shortly after, discovered his more prominent musical expression, the guitar. Rish moved to Singapore and spent his formative years discovering RnB, Funk and House music and soon dove deep into the world of songwriting and production.In August 2014, he arrived in Boston to study at the Berklee College of Music and continued to discover the art of record production and Majored in Songwriting and Production as well as Music Business.Morphing comfortably into genres, he often cites Prince, D'Angelo, A$AP Rocky, Lenny Kravitz, Miguel, The Weeknd, Disclosure, AR Rahman and Mohit Chauhan as some of his influences.
